Teacher shortage will be solved by the start of the academic year

Ministry of Education has revealed that the teacher shortage will be solved by the start of the academic year.
Speaking to RaajjeMV, an official from the ministry stated that there currently aren't enough teachers for every school but work is underway to make sure the teacher shortage will be solved by the time the new academic year begins on January 12th.
The ministry has yet to disclose the list of schools experiencing a teacher shortage.
As such, during a meeting with the 19th Parliament Committee on National Development And Heritage, Minister of Education, Dr Aishath Ali has previously stated that the ministry is facing challenges in acquiring local as well as expatriate teachers.
