First Couple, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have toured the solo art exhibition “Impermanence” by local artist Ahmed Amir.

The exhibition features over 40 oil paintings by Amir, all inspired by the natural beauty enveloping Maldives.

In association with the National Center for the Arts, was inaugurated on Friday and is set to proceed until Tuesday.

During the visit to the National Art Gallery where the art work is exhibited, the First Couple inspected the works of art, mainly capturing the movement of the clouds and waves of the ocean.

Further, the five-day exhibition features a variety of merchandise using the artwork, including notebooks, pencil cases, bookmarks as well as tote bags.

Amir is an accomplished musician, 3D artist and graphics designer.
