Suresh Chidambaram
Suresh Chidambaram was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of the Executive Board of Ooredoo Maldives.
He was appointed in September 2019.
While Ooredoo’s main shareholder Wataniya Maldives nominated Suresh, he has been working in the telecommunications, retail and manufacturing sectors for over 30 years.
Previously, Suresh served as the Chief Financial Officer of Ooredoo Global Services as well.
He has a Masters in Management from the Birla Institute of Science and Technology, India.
Ooredoo further revealed that he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as well, adding the company’s hope that they will reach new heights of success during his tenure.
