Ooredoo Maldives has appointed Najib Khan as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Khan’s predecessor Vikram Sinha was appointed as Managing Director as well.
Ooredoo Maldives reported that new CEO, Khan has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and for the last two years he had been leading the Business Services team within Ooredoo Group’s Commercial Division. Prior to joining the Ooredoo Group in 2014, his last assignment was with Bharti Airtel Limited as CEO of Home and Office Business.
Chairman of Ooredoo Maldives, Khalid Al Mahmoud commended ex-CEO Sinha for his contributions in making Ooredoo Maldives a successful brand. In his message, the Chairman also welcomed Khan to his role, adding that he hoped for a “continuation of the successful journey of Ooredoo Maldives under his able leadership”.
Sinha said that he was excited to lead the brand and work with the team at Ooredoo Maldives. He said that he remained committed to working with partners, suppliers and employees to drive forward the company’s strategic business priorities to provide the best possible service to the people of Maldives.
