According to a press statement released today, packages delivered through post and courier services that are inspected in the absence of the packages recipient or a representative of the recipient will be marked with "Tamper Evident Stickers" from November 1st onwards.

The sticker will be placed horizontally on top of the broken seal after the local courier agent reseals the package and will detail the date and time of inspection as well as a signature.

They further remind the public that placing fraudulent stickers or labels on the packages is against the law and will not be condoned.
