A man has been seriously injured during a collision between two motorcycles in Addu.
According to the Maldives Police Service, the two motorcycles collided near the Friday Mosque in Maradhoo-Feydhoo, Addu City around 20:30 on Tuesday night and injured a 24-year-old driving one of the motorcycles involved in the collision.
The injured driver suffered a broken nose during the accident and was transferred to Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.
The police added that the injured man did not possess a license to operate E-category land vehicles, however, the driver of the other motorcycle carried a license.
A total of three people were injured in the accident and were all taken to Maradhoo Health Centre.
MPS stated that the case is currently undergoing further investigation.
