Ahmadhiyya School Prize Day: Rasal and Sanee win best student awards
The ceremony was inaugurated by former president and current parliament speaker, Mohamed Nasheed.

Ahmadhiyya International School has awarded the Best all-round student 2018 award to Ahmed Rasal Thasleem and Hussain Sanee, at the schools' secondary and higher secondary level, respectively.
Current Speaker and former President Mohamed Nasheed was the special guest at the school's prize giving ceremony on Saturday night.
Ahmed Rasal Thasleem and Hussain Sanee were presented with the president's award, a trophy from the Education Ministry, the Dr.Ahmed Didi award, an award given by the family of Ahmadhiyya International School's founder, and commemorative plaques, trophies, and medals from Ahmadhiyya School.
While speaking at the ceremony, Nasheed highlighted the important role of educated intellectuals for the future, recognizing that a lack of which could land the Maldives in chaos.
He added that staying united should be prioritized despite the currently increasing difference in opinion on the subject of right-and-wrong. Finally, he congratulated the award winners of Ahmadhiyya International School and wished them the best for their future.
