Riyan Pvt. Ltd. assigned coastal protection project for five islands
The project is expected to be completed within 12 weeks

Coastal protection projects of five islands have been assigned to Riyan Pvt. Ltd., in association with Denmark's LaMear group and Niras A.S.

The company has been contracted to design the coastal protection of M.Mulah, M.Dhiggaru, M.Kolhufushi, Th.Buruni and Th.Vandhoo.

According to the planning ministry, this project will be carried out in two phases. First, work will be completed on designing the method of coastal protection and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of M.Mulah, M.Dhiggaru, and M.Kolhufushi. The project for the aforementioned islands will cost MVR 1,917,700.59/-.

Work on Th.Buruni and Th.Vandhoo will begin in the second phase and will cost MVR1,624,712.88/-. The project is expected to be completed within 12 weeks.
