Police disposes of abandoned vehicles

Vehicles with no working engines, abandoned at the industrial zone, have been discarded by the Maldives Police Service (MPS).

The work started last night and continued until earlier Thursday morning. Police announced they will consider similar abandoned vehicles on the streets of Male’ as trash and will dispose of them as well.

Maldives Police did not disclose the number of vehicles that were destroyed. Despite numerous vehicles being removed from the industrial zone, there are many parked vehicles still in the area.
