Police did not reveal the name and nationality of the deceased

A foreign worker was crushed under a concrete block machine on Wednesday.
Confirming this, police said that the incident occurred in Dhigurah island in Noonu atoll on Wednesday and that the deceased was employed by Sun Siyam Groups.
The 25-year-old was taken to Manadhoo island’s hospital, also in Noonu atoll, for treatment, and police said that he was pronounced dead on arrival. He is to have sustained a number of injuries.
Police did not reveal any further details including the name and nationality of the worker. They continue to investigate the case.
