Suspension of Islamic Ministry’s permanent secretary, Mus’ab Abdulla, has been extended for the fifth time.
Mus’ab has been given an additional 15 days suspension.
He was suspended on May 29 after the Civil Service Commission (CSC) began investigating a complaint filed against him.
At the time, CSC’s secretary general Ibrahim Zuhury said that his suspension was extended by 30 days as the investigation against him continues.
While the CSC has not revealed any details in the case, RaajjeMV understands that he is being investigated regarding a complaint over the Islamic Ministry’s procedure in selecting companies to handle Hajj pilgrims this year.
Mus’ab was appointed by the previous administration in July 2017.
