Fenaka has sent generators to five southern islands to solve the electricity issues.

The new generators were sent to L. Fonadhoo, Th. Guraidhoo, GDh. Thinadhoo, GA. Villingili, and L. Gan.

Fonadhoo, Thinadhoo, and Villingili received one-megawatt generator sets, while Guraidhoo and Gan received 800-kilowatt generator sets.

Fenaka stated that the generators were sent to improve standards and permanently solve the electricity issues in the islands, adding that the corporation plans to solve the electricity issues of all the islands.

Since the inauguration of the new administration, the new management of Fenaka has been solving the electricity issues in the islands as soon as they arise.

Last week, Fenaka quickly re-established power in Dhanbidhoo after a complete power outage after two of the island’s generators caught on fire.
