UCSI University scholarship applications open until August 6

Ministry of Higher Education has opened up applications for the UCSI University scholarship.
While the deadline to send in applications is 1:30pm on August 6, there are a total of 21 slots for UCSI University's September 2019 intake.
They are; 14 bachelor’s degree programmes, five master’s degree programmes and two PhD prorammes.
Those interested in the bachelor’s degree programmes must have received above ‘C’ grade in five subjects including English in either GCE O’Level, IGCSE or SSC. While those applying for a master’s programme are required to have a bachelor’s degree, those interested in the PhD programme must have a master’s degree.
In addition, UCSI University's requirements are included with the application forms.
The higher education ministry noted that those that are awarded the scholarship but are unable to prepare for this September will be able to defer to the next semester.
In addition, it said that two applicants that receive the top points will be awarded a “full-scholarship,” while the rest -for all three programmes- will receive a 10 percent discount; the rest of the funds is to be arranged by the applicants.
UCSI university will select the finalists for the scholarship programme.
