Four have reportedly been injured after being hit by a falling concrete beam from a balcony in Henveiru-ward of capital city Malé.
RaajjeMV understands that two individuals sitting under the balcony had attained various injuries when the beam fell on top of them on Wednesday night.
Both had been bleeding from the nose and mouth, some media outlets cited eye witnesses in the area.
Some media outlets cited Managing Director at ADK Hospital Ahmed Affaal having revealed that four were brought in to the hospital for treatment after being hit by a falling object from the second floor of a building.
While all four had attained several injuries, Affaal is to have said that they are still receiving treatment at the hospital.
A video circulating on social media shows that the concrete beam also damaged some motorcycles parked in the region.
