Guraidhoo council shares future development plans with President Solih
Discussed many infrastructural advances and developments that may be brought to the island
Highlighted the need to repair the island’s sewerage system as well as the need to increase the RO plant capacity

Guraidhoo island council shares future development plans for the island residents with President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Sunday.

Solih met with Guraidhoo councilors at the President Office where they briefed him on the most urgent requirements of the island community.

Councilors went on to highlight the need to repair the island’s sewerage system as well as the need to increase the RO plant capacity.

Further, Solih was briefed on how the island’s harbor requires development along with the need to reclaim land for various projects on the island.

Councilors also discussed many infrastructural advances and developments that may be brought to the island in Kaafu atoll.

Having listened to the councilors' concerns and needs, Solih assured them that his administration will take the required measures to bring development needed by the island community after he holds thorough discussions with the relevant ministries to address the issues at hand.

Earlier, Solih had stated that no island will be left out of his development agenda.
