A man has been arrested for mugging a foreigner at knifepoint.
He was arrested on Wednesday morning in Male’ City.
The police service stated that the suspect was arrested by a police officer as he was fleeing after mugging a foreigner on Faashanaa Kilege Magu.
The police stated that the 26-year-old had stolen MVR 1,000 and a phone from the victim.
