Velana International Airport’s public transport arrangements have been changed for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.
On Twitter, MACL stated that changes have been made to the ferry and bus services and taxi stops.
MACL stated that the ferry to Male’ will operate at the departure jetty area near food court from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday and that taxis will drop off and pick up passengers from the airport at the present drop-off point.
On Sunday from 6am to 9:30am, the ferry to Male' will operate at departure jetty area near food court and taxis will drop off and pick up passengers from the airport at the present drop-off point.
MACL also stated that the MTCC/MPL bus will drop off and pick-up passengers at western motor cycle parking area and that the HIH bus will drop off and pick up passengers in front of the Domestic Terminal.
