Ministry of Higher Education is to have direct sessions with those not selected for its March 2019 loan scheme, on Sunday, so as to clarify any doubts.
The ministry announced 242 slots for the loan scheme, on March 21.
While the deadline for application expired on April 4, the winners were announced on May 30. They are to receive their 'loan award notification' in June.
Noting that the selected participants were announced within 20 days, the ministry said that the purpose of this was “to avoid any delays to commence their studies.”
The ministry said that it is aware that those that were not selected would want to know the reasons for this, adding that this will be updated next Sunday.
“We will also be having direct sessions to clarify any doubts that you may have,” it said.![]()
The higher education ministry is to announce a new loan scheme on June 20, for the slots which they were unable to utilise from the March 2019 loan scheme “due to unqualified applications.”
