Four people were injured in an attack following an attempted robbery

Police have yet to make any arrests in relation to the violence in Dhiffushi island of Kaafu atoll on Wednesday night.

Police’s media officer told RaajjeMV that four people were injured in an attack that took place following an attempted robbery.

Two of them were transferred to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in the capital, for treatment. The others are being treated at the Dhiffushi Health Centre.

In addition, a dinghy docked near the island was set ablaze on Wednesday night.

Police said that the vessel has been damaged beyond use.

While the police have yet to arrest any suspects in connection to these two incidents, it continues to investigate the cases.
