The Education Ministry is seeking caterers to provide breakfast in all schools.
The Ministry is seeking caterers to provide food to 188 schools as part of the state's breakfast program.
Interested parties are requested to register their names at schools from Sunday to Wednesday at any time between 9:30am and 12:30pm.
The Ministry will begin accepting bid offers on May 23. Interested parties are required to submit MVR 5,000 as bid security, which will last 30 days from the day the party provides the amount.
The pilot run of the state’s school breakfast programme was launched at 25 of the 213 schools. The state’s budget has allocated MVR 50 million for the program.
The Ministry prepared 10 menus with help from UNICEF, which include sandwiches, omelets, flat bread, and milk.
