While a total of 1,201 cases were reported to the police in April, most were of theft.
Police’s statistics show that it had received a total of 386 theft cases in April, which is 43 percent more than the previous month. 270, out of 1,098 cases reported in March, were of theft and robbery.
Other cases reported in April include; violence, possession, mugging, traffic and domestic violence cases.
As such, police had investigated 240 traffic cases in April, as well as 40 violence cases. In addition, 32 mugging cases were reported, which is 25 percent less than in March.
