Civil Service Commission (CSC) has on Tuesday appointed Abdulla Fayaz as the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation’s Permanent Secretary.

The ceremony in which Fayaz was handed his letter of appointment by CSC President Ali Shameem was joined by the Ministry’s Deputy Ministry.

Fayaz filled different positions in management for over 11 years and filled many government positions for over six years. Some of these positions include Deputy Minister and Technical Advisor at the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure.

He also filled membership at Maldives Building and Construction board, Gulhifalhu Investment Limited and Works Corporation Board.

Fayaz has a Bachelor of Engineering from Australia’s University of Technology in Queensland.
