101 audit reports reviewed by the financial committee has been placed on the agenda for Monday’s sitting.
Some of these reports are dated from 2007 to 2013, and include audits on the Police Integrity Commission, Elections Commission, Anti-Corruption Commission, local councils, and other government institutions.
Parliament’s secretary general Fathimath Niusha said that they have not yet decided on extending Monday’s sitting and that reports that are left out will be placed in the agenda for another sitting.
While the end of the 18th parliament nears, numerous bill have been left at the committees.
Monday’s sitting will hear 12 bills, including one on increasing business competitiveness, the Maldivian fishing industry, amendment to the civil service regulation, agricultural pesticides, amendment to the decentralization act, and amendment to the anti-corruption commission’s regulation act.
The 18th parliament will dissolve on May 28, when the newly elected MPs take oath of office.
