Maldives Media Council, in partnership with the Academy for Dhivehi Language, “Dhivehi Bahuge Academy” is to hold a Dhivehi language training program for all local media outlets.

An announcement by the council on Monday reads that the program aims at training local media outlets and their journalists as well as all reporters from state institutions.

The training program will begin on 14 April and the deadline for registration for the first round will end at 01:30 pm on 28 March.

Those who wish to participate in the program must send in their names, designation, phone numbers, e-mail address as well as a copy of their identity cards.

Submissions are to be made to the Medial Council premises.
