They were caught with two bags of what is suspected of being marijuana, 18 rubber packets, and three film canisters suspected of holding hash oil
The woman was reminded by 10 days and the 28-year-old man by 15

The Drug Enforcement Department has led a k-9 squad assisted operation that captured a large quantity of marijuana.

Officers had apprehended a 28-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman from a house in capital city Malé, on 16th May.

They were caught with two bags of what is suspected of being marijuana, 18 rubber packets, and three film canisters suspected of holding hash oil.

Officers had also confiscated MVR 15,000, an unspecified amount of foreign currency, and a logo stamp for the Maldives Customs Service.

The woman was reminded by 10 days and the 28-year-old man by 15. The police are currently investigating the case.
