MDP to reveal agenda for Addu City during President’s visit

Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) stated that it will reveal the party’s parliamentary agenda for Addu City during President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and former President Mohamed Nasheed’s visit.

President Solih and MDP leader Nasheed will be travelling to Addu City on Friday.

At a press conference on Monday, MDP’s “Agenda 19” communications coordinator Mohamed Saif Fathih said they will give a presentation at a special ceremony after President Solih’s arrival to the southernmost city.

This is the first time President Solih will be participating in a parliamentary campaign event since the start of MDP’s official campaign. He had joined some campaigns of MDP candidates during the primary election.

President Solih and Nasheed have said that MDP receiving the parliament majority for is crucial for fulfilling the government’s pledges.

MDP also stated that Nasheed will be in Colombo from March 13 to 15 as part of the party’s campaign.
