Maldives Police Service (MPS) reveals another accident on the Hulhule – Hulhumale highway that left four injured.

RaajjeMV understands that the collision occurred on Saturday night when two speeding motorcycles from Hulhumale to Male’ collided on the four-lane highway, leaving four injured.

One out the four aged 54 was treated at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) while the other three, 20, 21 and 50 were treated at ADK Hospital.

MPS received the report of the accident a half hour past midnight and have since revealed that they are investigating the accident.

There has been a recent hike in road accidents that have injured multiple people.

Just last Tuesday, three were injured in a collision in Fuvahmulah and a 47-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle in capital city Male’ last week as well.
