The receptionist at a guesthouse in Hulhumalé was stabbed early Friday.

Police confirm that an 18-year-old was reported stabbed at 4:48am.

The police say that two assailants were involved.

The victim was taken to the Hulhumalé Hospital and has been released.

The Hulhumalé Hospital on Thursday treated a 33-year-old individual who was sustained wounds form a sharp object to his chest, head, and arm.
