The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has not revealed all the recipients of funds embezzled through the state-run Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), a former auditor general has said.
In a post on his Facebook account, former auditor general Niyaz Ibrahim, who blew the whistle on embezzlement in 2015, said that millions of dollars were funneled to accounts held by former president Ahmed Adeeb.
It's just the tip of the iceberg. The massive chunk below the surface has to be unearthed and exposed. pic.twitter.com/G4BnG4Lkj9

Niyaz said in his post that those to whom funds were deposited are still in senior positions of government.
The ACC on Thursday publicized its 700-page report on the 2015 investigation into embezzlement out of the MMPRC, which shows that the company’s then managing director had funneled millions out of it and falsified receipts.
