A 28-year-old has been stabbed in Villingili of Gaaf Alif atoll late Saturday.
Police media official reports that the stabbing took place close to 11:30 on Saturday night and the condition of the stabbed 28-year-old is stable.
He was rushed for treatment at GA Atoll Hospital immediately and another 28-year-old was taken into police custody regarding the stabbing.
Police did not reveal further details regarding the stabbing.
Another 28-year-old was stabbed in Hulhumale on the 13th of January as well. There has been exceeding cases of violence and assault across the nation of late.
