An individual was stabbed to death at around 9:10 pm on Monday
A youth has passed away after being fatally stabbed on Monday night.
ADK Hospital's Managing Director Mohamed Af'aal has confirmed the death.
25-year-old Mohamed Anas, R. Meedhoo, was attacked by a group of masked assailants at around 9:10 pm on Monday.
He was at Litus Service Center, located on Hadheebee Magu of the Henveiru ward of the capital city, when the masked men attacked him.
A family member told RaajjeMV that Anas worked on a speedboat, and that he had gone to Litus to meet with a friend.
"He frequented there when in Malé. Heard the news of stabbing around 30 minutes after he left the house," said the family member.
Eyewitnesses told RaajjeMV that the group left the crime scene in three motorcycles, and that he had multiple stab wounds on the chest.
