A 7-year-old suffered a fall from the second floor of a home in southernmost Addu City, sustaining injuries that require him to be brought to capital city Malé for further treatment.
The Maldivian airline facilitated the child’s transfer to Malé on Friday night, having told RaajjeMV at around 10:30pm that all preparations are being made.
The child was first treated at the heath center in Maradhoo island, before being transferred to the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital at about 1:40pm on Friday.
At the hospital, the child was treated in intensive care.
