We officially announce that Coach Mohamed Nizam will not be acting as our head coach in the upcoming football season. We appreciate his tireless efforts in making us what we are today. We wish him all the best for his future assignments.
The football club had won the previous season’s Dhivehi Premier League under the professional coaching of Nizam, who was awarded the “Best Coach” title at the Maldives Football Awards in the past two consecutive years.
While Nizam has been behind many accomplishments of the team, TC had also won the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup held in Bangladesh under his coaching.
In addition, TC was promoted to the 1st Division from the 2nd Division during Nizam’s tenure and won second place at the Dhivehi Premier League for three consecutive years.
Further, TC received second place in the FA Cup twice, and second place in the President’s Cup once during Nizam’s time as their coach.
