The Centre for Holy Quran has changed its name.

The President’s Office stated that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has decided to change the name to the National Centre for Holy Quran.

The Centre is run under the Islamic ministry.

It is tasked with teaching and spreading the holy book’s lessons and history in the country.

The Centre also holds Quran competitions and teach various courses on the Holy Quran.
