The clients who were left out of a hajj pilgrimage trip organized by the Ali-Fathuhu Hajj & Umra Group have filed suit against the agency.
In a press release on Thursday, Litica Law Associates said they have initiated a pro bono lawsuit against the tour operator to recover money paid by some of the clients.
The law firm said that other victims are welcome to join the lawsuit.

In 2015, Ali-Fathuhu Hajj & Umra Group accepted money from 72 additional people along with their usual quota after guaranteeing that it would be able to take all of them to that year’s Hajj pilgrimage.
Mustafa Mohamed, Managing Director of the tour operator, was earlier found not guilty of a state charge of misappropriation of funds due to lack of evidence.
