The budget evaluation committee has sent summons to the heads of five state administrations.
The parliament committee tasked with evaluating the proposed 2019 state budget has asked them to be present at meeting on Tuesday, 8:30pm.
The five administrations are the Elections Commission, Maldives National University, Maldives Islamic University, Civil Service Commission, and the parliament administration.
The purpose of the summons is to clarify some points on the state budget for the new administration.
The 2019 state budget consists of MVR 29.6 billion, of which MVR 2.9 billion is allocated for paying off loans.
It is estimated that the state will receive MVR 23 billion of income next year.
