Two additional individuals have been arrested in connection to the robbery from Ensis Fisheries Company.
Police informed that arrested are a 23-year-old man and 25-year-old woman were arrested from Hulhumalé, adding that the court has issued them a five-day remand.
While police revealed that there is a total of four suspects in custody over the matter, reports indicate that two of them were employees at the company.
A total of MVR 2.7 million was stolen in the robbery which took place on the 31st of July. The money was stolen as it was being loaded into a company van after an employee withdrew the amount from a Mauritius Commercial Bank branch in Hulhumalé.
