The Maldives National University (MNU) is to host its graduation ceremony on  Sinamale' Bridge on Sunday night.

In a tweet, Housing Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizzu revealed that President Yameen has given the approval to host MNU’s graduation ceremony on the newly-inaugurated bridge.

Sinamale' Bridge was officially opened by President Yameen on Thursday night with fireworks and light show. The ceremony was joined by a special delegate from the Chinese President along with President Yameen’s running mate Dr. Mohamed Shaheem as well as other top officials of the government.

The bridge will be officially opened to the general public on Friday.
