TC and New Radiant face off in FA Cup finals

New Radiant Sports Club and TC Sports Club are to face off in the FA Cup finals on Wednesday night.
TC secured a spot on the finals after defeating Male’ League champions Maziya Sports Club 2-0. New Radiant secured their place in the finals after delivering a stunning defeat to Green Streets with 4-0.
TC Coach Mohamed Nizam said the finals will be challenging, especially as they will have to face a strong New Radiant. Nevertheless, he assured they will take this up to win the Cup.
New Radiant’s star players Ali Ashfaq and Ibrahim Fazeel are expexted to make an appearance.
Previously, New’s coach said the current squad will offer a tough fight and if they play with confidence then a win was a reality.
Both teams had already qualified to next year’s AFC Cup. New Radiant went into the AFC Cup as the champions of Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League, while TC qualified as the runner ups.
