A Demo of Digital Voting System: PNC Congress Vote Rigged!

Evidence has emerged indicating that the digital voting system utilized by the People's National Congress (PNC) during its recent congress was manipulated to rig the results.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, several participants who voted at the congress told RaajjeMV that the results had been manipulated through the backend of the digital voting system.

According to these sources, some members seated in the front rows of the hall reported that the system indicated they had already cast their votes for a specific candidate even before they had logged in to the voting system.

Witnesses have noted that this incident has raised significant questions regarding the integrity of the voting system.

Sources who spoke to RaajjeMV reported that the hall fell into disarray once the matter came to light and became public knowledge. They further noted that the situation escalated significantly as several members voiced their frustrations and engaged in heated exchanges.

Concerns among general party members and congress delegates have escalated significantly following allegations that the digital voting system was manipulated to influence the election results.

Senior officials of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s administration have recently been advocating for the transition of Maldivian elections to a digital voting system. However, some opposition politicians and members of the public are alleging that this is a deceptive scheme initiated by the government to manipulate the upcoming presidential election.
