Former Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has stated that the actions of the ruling People’s National Congress (PNC) today mirror the tactics once employed by the Nazis.
Speaking on a RaajjeTV talk show, Dr. Jameel stated that historical accounts of the Nazi regime's governance in Germany are well-documented in literature.
Dr. Jameel noted that, at the time, Jewish people were living in such fear that they placed warning signs outside their shops, highlighting the systematic discrimination they faced.
Dr. Jameel stated that the PNC is currently ensuring that those who do not belong to the party are denied employment opportunities, effectively forcing them to join the party. He further noted that an environment is being created where individuals feel they cannot secure employment or job security unless they become members of the PNC.

Furthermore, Dr. Jameel stated that securing employment at places such as the airport, as well as ensuring job security, is now contingent upon being a member of the PNC.
Dr. Jameel’s remarks come in reference to the Nazis, members of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazi Party) that existed in Germany from 1920 to 1945. Led by Adolf Hitler, the party established an absolute dictatorship in Germany between 1933 and 1945, a period historically known as "Nazi Germany" or the "Third Reich." Central to Nazi ideology was the belief in the superiority of the German race, while Jews and several other ethnic groups were systematically marginalized as inferior.
Furthermore, historical records indicate that during the Nazi regime, more than six million Jews and millions of individuals from other ethnic groups were brutally murdered under the guise of racial purification. It is also reported that World War II was triggered by Nazi Germany's invasions of other nations in its pursuit of global dominance.
