Assault in Male' leaves one injured

While police have launched an investigation into the group violence, no arrests have been reported in connection with the incident so far.

A person has been injured in an assault that took place in Huvafenee Goalhi, located in the Galolhu district of Male'.
Police received reports of the assault at approximately 2:32 a.m. on Wednesday night.
According to information shared with the media by the police, the victim of the assault is a 35-year-old Maldivian man.
According to details released by the police, the violence broke out during a gathering in the Huvafenee Goalhi area. Police further confirmed that the individual injured in the incident has been transported to IGM Hospital for medical treatment.
Regarding the matter, police further stated that an investigation is currently underway.
Police have not yet disclosed whether any arrests have been made in connection with this case.
