MDP activist Shamin remanded for 10 days!

During the remand hearing, authorities presented CCTV footage and intelligence reports as evidence to support the allegations against him.

MDP activist Mohamed Shamin has been remanded in custody for 10 days following his arrest in connection with a protest held by the party on Friday night, August 28.
He was taken into custody under a court order, which states that he is accused of crossing police barricades and entering a restricted area.
The court order stated that he was being taken into custody for the sake of public safety and security.
Additional allegations against him include property damage, obstruction of justice, and obstructing a law enforcement officer.
Police have submitted several pieces of evidence against the suspect, including snapshots from CCTV footage, statements from officers who attended the scene, and an intelligence report.
When Shamin was produced before the court for a remand hearing, the court ordered him to be remanded in custody for a period of 10 days.
Maimoon Ahmed, Vice President of the MDP Youth Wing, was also arrested under a court order in connection with the same case. However, the court ordered his release this past Sunday.
