Police have identified and taken action against an individual following the circulation of a social media video showing dangerous motorcycle stunts on the Sinamalé Bridge.
According to information shared with the media by the police, the driver's license has been suspended and a fine has been issued. Police further stated that the motorcycle involved in the incident has been impounded for a period of 30 days.
A video circulating on social media shows a man operating a motorcycle while seated with both legs dangling off to one side, steering the vehicle with only one hand.
In a similar case of dangerous driving on the Sinamalé Bridge, police impounded three motorcycles for a 30-day period last July.
Police are urging the public to refrain from reckless driving to ensure road safety. Authorities have confirmed that they are taking strict legal action against those who operate vehicles in a dangerous manner.
