Verification process begins for applications submitted under "Housing for All" policy

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing, and Urban Development has announced that the verification process is underway for land and flat applications submitted for the Greater Male' Region under the government's "Housing for All" policy.

The Ministry of Housing stated on Saturday that the verification process for applications will involve cross-referencing submitted data with information provided to the Ministry by government agencies and local councils.

Furthermore, it has been stated that if any discrepancies are found in the information provided in the application form, the applicant will be notified through the "Hiyaavehi" portal.

Furthermore, the Ministry stated that if any information provided in the notice via the portal is inaccurate, applicants will be granted a seven-day period to submit clarifying details and relevant supporting documentation. The Ministry also noted that updates regarding application status will be sent via SMS to the mobile number provided by the applicant during the initial registration process.

The Ministry further stated that if a response to the identified issues is not submitted within the specified deadline, the application will be deemed ineligible or incomplete.

The Ministry of Housing has stated that responses can only be submitted through the Hiyaavehi Portal. The Ministry clarified that submissions made via email, formal letters, or any other means will not be accepted during this stage.
