The Cabinet has deliberated on the growing issue of copper wire theft from various installations across the country.
The President's Office stated that the matter was deliberated upon during Tuesday's cabinet meeting.
In this regard, the Council highlighted the growing issue of copper wire theft, where cables are cut from various locations to be exported at high prices. Consequently, the Council has resolved to take measures to address and find a solution to this problem.
However, no specific measures to address the issue have been disclosed.
