Indian Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya met with his Maldivian counterpart, Abdulla Rafiu, for official bilateral talks on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Sports Ministers Meeting currently being held in Glasgow.
The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss strengthening "South-South Cooperation" within the sports sector, aimed at enhancing collaboration among developing nations.
The Indian Sports Minister stated that the meetings served as a platform to share information regarding the country's world-class sporting infrastructure and its significant advancements in the field of sports science. Furthermore, the Minister highlighted India’s established frameworks for athlete training and the development of elite-level sports professionals.
