Dhathuruveriya Umrah Group has announced that participants of its historic first direct flight from Addu to Jeddah are scheduled to depart from Addu International Airport on July 12, 2026.
These flights are scheduled to operate directly from Addu to Jeddah, marking the first time direct travel to Jeddah has been facilitated from a Maldivian region other than Hulhulé. The service is being introduced through a partnership between Maldivian and "Dhathuruveriya." According to the travel agency, the inaugural flight is set to depart on July 12.
Dhathuruveriya extends a warm invitation to all beloved residents of Addu City to attend a special ceremony. This event aims to share detailed information regarding our Umrah pilgrimage packages and to honor the pilgrims participating in the inaugural Addu-to-Jeddah direct flight.
The meeting is slated to take place on July 4, 2026, at the Addu High School hall. According to the organizers, MTCC bus transportation was arranged for all attendees traveling to Addu High School. Participants intending to use the service are advised to be at the designated MTCC bus stops by 7:00 PM.
Passengers traveling on direct flights from Addu to Jeddah will be permitted a baggage allowance of 46 kilograms.
As preparations for the Umrah pilgrimage continue, Dhathuruveriya is currently delivering Umrah kits directly to the doorsteps of its pilgrims.
