AEH begins administering MR vaccine
Authorities have announced that individuals must present their national identity card or passport to receive the vaccine, which is currently being prioritized for Maldivian citizens under the age of 30 and expatriate workers.

Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) commenced its vaccination program on Tuesday.
According to AEH, this program has been launched as a precautionary measure following the detection of measles cases in the Maldives.
Vaccinations are scheduled to proceed from June 30 through July 6. Detailed information regarding vaccination hours has been published on the Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) Facebook page.
Authorities have announced that individuals must present their national identity card or passport when attending for vaccination. This current phase of the inoculation drive is specifically targeted at Maldivian citizens under the age of 30 and expatriate workers.
Although measles has been officially eradicated in the Maldives, recent statistics reveal that 22 cases have been confirmed since the disease resurfaced in the country last month.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has launched a nationwide measles and rubella (MR) vaccination campaign across the Maldives.
