Police receive 874 cases in April; accidents and thefts top the list
Police statistics reveal that traffic accidents and thefts were the most frequently reported crimes in April, with 240 and 236 cases respectively. A total of 3,899 cases have been reported so far this year, including drug offenses, physical assault, and sexual abuse. The data highlights a critical need for targeted intervention, as theft, accidents, and drug-related crimes account for 71.2 percent of all cases reported to the police.

Police statistics reveal that a total of 874 cases were reported to the authorities this past April. Accidents and theft accounted for the largest share of these reported incidents.
According to monthly statistics released by the police, 240 cases related to traffic accidents were reported last month. This category represents the highest number of incidents recorded during the period.
Theft cases were the second most frequently recorded offenses. In April, a total of 236 theft-related incidents were reported to the police. Additionally, authorities received 169 reports involving narcotics and 75 cases concerning lost property during the same period.
Furthermore, cases reported to the police last month included 37 instances of assault and 37 cases of property damage. During the same period, authorities also received 24 reports of sexual abuse and 22 cases of domestic violence.
Last April, the police received reports of 16 cases of fraud, 16 cases of robbery, and 2 cases of forgery.
According to the latest police statistics, a total of 3,899 cases have been reported so far this year. The majority of these reports involve incidents of theft, traffic accidents, and drug-related offenses.
These three categories account for 71.2 percent of all cases reported to the police.
